A True Hero

Mrs. Gillespie invited Marcus Lattimore to Wellford Academy to play a round of "Are you Smarter than a 3rd Grader".  Once again, third grade, you rocked and showed your intellect and knowledge of third grade concepts!  Marcus was very impressed with us, and I think all of us were impressed with him as well.  Marcus told both classes to remain positive, respect your teachers, and go to college.  What do you think about his visit?  Did anything he say strike a chord with you, and make you think about your own life? Please share your thoughts about his visit.

    I think when Marcus came he spoke to my heart and inspired me!He has a hard time also like he can't go to Bi-lo or he'll get mobbed.But the truth is he is just human like us.Thank you so much Marcus!

    THE 3rd graders beat Marcas! Marcas is #21. He said if you respect your teachers then someday you will have that jersy on. His favorite subject is history. He can't go to Bi-Lo and shop or people will sourond him. He said college is fun!

    Marcus is a hero to me becuse he is so fun and nice.He is inteligent!Marcus spoke to my heart.i am also the wirter to the top comment that also says the spoke to my haert!

    Hi ms. Clinton!I just wanted to to say that every time i hear school i think of you and how your so sweet 2 me!Im having a great summer the cool thing is my mom orderd the Wii with Wii sports resort,Wii sports and a family game night bundle and also another wii remote!Im also going to my nanas house!And 2 more weeks till Austin is born!Ms.Clinton i miss you so much that i want tom cry!Hannah
